Where are my inputs saved?

On your device only. Use Scenario JSON to copy a setup to another device, Scenarios to save and compare setups, and Reset to return to the defaults.

Does it need internet?

No. The native apps are fully offline. The web app works offline after the first visit, and once installed to your home screen or desktop.

How do I install the web app?

iPhone and iPad: open doceng.patriciolatini.com/app in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android: use the install icon in the address bar or Install app in the menu.

How accurate are the results?

The calculator is a planning tool. Results are engineering estimates based on the DOCSIS 3.0, 3.1 and 4.0 specifications and the inputs you choose. Verify critical designs against your equipment and plant measurements.
